Job Duties

  • Online reputation and community management - reply reviews, comments and engage with audiences on a daily basis through TripAdvisor, Google and other online review sites; Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest and WeChat.
  • Social champion and online lead - plan social content calendar for Hotel and  F&B outlets.
  • Create and manage daily content on social channels - Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, and WeChat. 
  • Photography, videography and editing for social platforms.
  • Ensure all social pages and entries adhere to the company social media policy 
  • Maintain and update property websites’ content through Home Office to ensure brand standards and web audit goals are met 
  • Plan and execute marketing campaigns at property level, enabling more customized and need based marketing 
  • Read and analyse monthly performance reports and strategize action plans that lead to driving increase in retail business
  • Contacts and serves as liaison with advertising agencies, media owners, publishers, editors, press and broadcast media representatives. 
  • Co-ordinates the creation and production of sales, marketing and promotional materials,  including hotel collaterals, brochures, fact-sheets, sales kits, press kits and any other sales & marketing literature   
  • Contacts and serves as liaison with advertising agencies, media owners, publishers, editors, press and broadcast media representatives.   
  • Co-ordinates advertising schedules and placement of advertisements in selected media titles.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with media contacts, through a planned schedule of invitations to hotel inspections and hosted events.
  • Host media educational visits to the hotel and ensure appropriate follow through with media kits and relevant information.
  • Develop newsworthy angles for media articles and press interviews to generate awareness of the hotel, locally and globally.
  • Develops and maintain computer database of local and overseas media contacts and participate in the discussions of any direct mail activities to be undertaken by the Sales & Marketing team.

Job Requirement 

Qualifications:

  • Diploma of college or university completion and achievements of digital marketing, marketing communications or equivalent.

Work Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience preferably in the digital marketing field, of which, minimum 6 months of experience in a hotel 

Technical Skills:

  • Cross-cultural work exposure in a team setting.
  • Education in digital and social marketing strategies, marketing communications, advertising, and selling with a combination of proven activities.
  • Recognizing current trends, marketplace attitudes and company intelligence.
  • Photography, videography and editing skills.
  • Excellent command over written and spoken English. 
  • Other languages would be beneficial.
