Manager/Assistant Director - Learning and Development (1-year contract)

Responsibilities
As part of the learning and development team, you will be involved in the implementation of learning and development policies and frameworks.  You will manage the learning plans and the training curriculum to build up MND officers’ capabilities. You will also be responsible to implement new technologies (ie e-learning) to enhance the training platforms. In addition, you will work closely with MND’s Statutory Boards to conduct training programmes for officers within the MND Family, such as the Induction Programme for new officers.   Requirements Applicants should possess/be able to:-  
  • A Degree in related disciplines. Those with prior experiences in management of learning portfolio and competency framework would have an advantage. Fresh graduates with keen interest in the area of Learning & Development are also welcome to apply;
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage officers of all levels and stakeholders;
  • Excellent written, organisational and communication skills; and
  • Work effectively independently and in teams.
  (Successful candidates will be offered a 1-year contract)

Internships

The MND Internship Programme offers students who are interested in a career in MND and in the Civil Service, an enriching opportunity to discover your potential.

In the ten-to-twelve week internship at MNDHQ, you will be attached to one of MND's core functions, depending on your interest. Whichever path you choose, expect to realise your leadership potential in a dynamic environment where you will grow personally and professionally. More importantly, through the varied and challenging assignments, you will have a better understanding of MND's operations as well as gain greater insights into public policy-making.
