Senior Assistant Manager, Enterprise IT
An instrumental role in articulating the functional needs and translating into IT solutions that will support the overall University goals, the incumbent will work closely with the various departments within the University to analyze and define user requirements, recommend and evaluate appropriate end-to-end IT solutions; manage project and change implementation; as well as maintaining and supporting of the system implemented.
Responsibilities:
Design, code, test and document all new or modified existing applications
Investigate and resolve application functionality related issues and provide first level support and troubleshoot HR applications issues
Works with stakeholders to gather business requirements analysis for the development and implementation of new applications and for enhancements to existing applications
Coordinate with vendors and stakeholders to organize project expectations
Liaise closely with stakeholders and build good rapport
Writes detailed descriptions of user needs, business process functions, and steps required to develop, improve, automate, or test information systems.
Prepares workflow charts and diagrams to specify operations to be performed by computer programs and business users.
Produce technical documentation for new and existing applications. Updates existing documentation as changes and patches are implemented
Work with various teams to design and architect the end-to-end application solutions
Requirements:
A recognised polytechnic diploma/degree in IT
3 - 5 years of Information Technology experience with hands-on technical roles in the field and relies on experience and judgement to plan and accomplish goals
Good project management skills with effective results focus capability
Experience in the development and implementation of standards, procedures, and guidelines to support operational processes
Extensive knowledge of data processing, hardware platforms and enterprise software applications
Good technical experience with systems networking, databases, web development, and user support
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and manage changing priorities
Experience in low-code application development, .Net and RPA will be an added advantage
